on the way home this evening the fireflies...oh, the fireflies were so bright and so plentiful.

i'd forgotten how wonderful it was to see them - we never saw them that often living in the city except when we would be in union square on the odd summer evening that they were active.

they provide light and comfort and hope. links to the past and beacons for the future.

i love them.
